Hello! I'm really interested in trying this out! I have only played once irl and this would be my first online, really love the game but not much ppl to play with around my area, let me know if I can join :)
Hi! I would like to try to play if possible. I would be my very first time ever, due to a bit of social anxiety but I'm really really interested. So I would really like to join, please.
I'm new to playing but I've watched people playing. Very interested in finding a group to play with :) I've got three characters that I've made: tiefling rouge, dwarf druid and a Genasi sorcerer/draconic bloodline
I live in Ohio but I can work around with people's schedules when i don't have to work :)
Hello! If there's a spot available, I would really like to join! I'm a new player. I tried playing once before, but the group I found made me feel very uncomfortable. However, Critical Role has rekindled my interest, ten fold! Plus, the 5e rules seem much "friendlier" than older editions. This seems like the perfect group to start over with, so I look forward to hearing your response! :)
Game: D&D 5e, short adventures (or longer campaigns) Group type: Online Experience: new player, but very interested Location/Timezone: EST Schedule: Thursdays at 7pm should be fine (starting a new job soon, so that may change) Roles sought: Player (for now...would love to learn more about playing DM) Game style: "Casual, friendly, and fun" (Yes please!)
would like to attempt this. maybe 5 hrs playing time about 40 yrs ago. figured try online game to see if can get feet wet. d&d 5e preferred. no other rpg type games(paperwise) have done skyrim and such. live in ohio and Thursdays are an off day for me.always wanted to play a hafling rogue. character development role play balanced with hack & slash
have hafling rogue dialed up (Khilody Redhand). any other questions pm me please.
Ok. So I am very interested in D&D but I have never played. Not even sat once haha. I would love to play though. I've seen it played on twitch... Hope that counts.
I'm completely new to D&D and while I have been interested in it for a while now, I never really got myself to try, partially because I don't know anyone that plays and I wasn't quite brave enough to go and find someone like you to teach me. I hope there's still a spot for me in one of the sessions. I would really love to get into this awesome and honestly, for me as a beginner very complex and frightening game. I'm really into RPGs and fantasy novels but I don't know much about D&D (yet).
I hope to hear from you and get a chance to learn some more!
I'm a really shy, nervous person (though once I'm comfortable with people I can be quite the opposite). I've never played before, though I've watched a lot of Critical Role (like many here, I imagine) and really want to try. I'm in EST and my availability is nearly completely open (except a couple weekly appointments). I have a headset so I could do audio chat but no webcam. My main concern (other than initial anxiety) is that I don't have any of the current books, nor am I able purchase them.
I'd be open to making almost any sort of character, so if a group needs a certain type to round them out then that works, but some of the things that would appeal to me most, in no particular order: stealth, high-risk high-reward, mechanics based on chance/randomness, charismatic silver-tongued smooth-talkers, tricksters, secret agendas, playing up character flaws/weaknesses (like low stats), and similar. I'd also love to learn how to DM at some point.
I'm most easily reached on Discord (see profile) but will remember to check back here regularly as well. Thank you (:
Hello all, I am an older player (age) it has been way too long since I have dipped my toe in D&D in any type of structured play group. I learned years ago..**coughcough** many many moons ago in 1981 I was lucky to pick up the game. Then I had my own children and they and their friends formed my play groups. Unfortunately, now they have flown the coup, and for the first time since being a teenager I have no one to play with. I am feeling a little leery with the new 5th edition, I have many of the hard copy books and am purchasing as swiftly as I can from here as well. I would love a chance to see if I can still play and not just play mom DM. I am not that great at computers, obviously they did not have them in schools when I went.. again with the as old as dirt joke... I can learn though with patience and I Really would like to play with people. If I sound like a possible fit, my schedule will be changing soon beginning of July maybe 2nd week. to 1pm MST. to 6pm MST with Mondays and Tuesdays off. Feel free to contact me in whichever manner is good for you. I go by Bela or Cat.
What's Up everyone! I would definitely be interested! I played a couple times with a group of newbies but things were super disorganized and then the group broke up because of reasons...So I would love to get back to playing again! We only played like 5 times, and even though none of us really new what we were doing it was still fun.
I played DnD for the first time yesterday and loved it. Today I started looking at available ways to play online. This seems perfect for me. I don’t have a character yet, but know what race and class I would like to play.
I just got Roll20 and am interested in beginning the game!
Hey, I'm totally new to DND, watching Critical Role and hearing about my friend playing and it looks/sounds like so much fun! I'd definitely be interested if there are still spots open in the future. I've never played dnd properly before and really want to learn the basics of how to play and how things work but also have fun. I've signed up for Roll20 and have a couple of characters my friend/dnd beyond helped me make, a water genasi druid and a teifling sorcerer. I live in Australia so the 7PM EST time would be 9AM for me which works fine but i'm definitely fine with pretty much whatever would suit the group best.
I am very interested in this as I am very new to DnD (only played a half of a campaign in which i was the only one with a decent character sheet ;-_-) and im trying to find some short campaigns to get into DnD a little more and to get a feeling for the game so I can move on to bigger campaigns and maybe a fun group of players.
But ofcourse I have noticed the first date has already passed, but do you happen to be organising more of these sorts of sessions? Id love to join one in the future!
A completely new guy here, I'd love to get into the game if you're still doing these. Currently watching the Far Verona campaign on the itmeJP channel and the new HighRollers campaign and loving it so far, want to try a hand at it myself. Thanks!
Played back in the 70's when D&D first started. Rules was basic and we had a great time, but have not played sense. Thus very rusty and the rules for 5e are complex it seems. Like playing clerics, but will play any role.
Thank you;

Good day, I have only played once before and am interested in learning to play, as that game I was the DM for my family.
I am on EST
I generally prefer to fill whatever role is needed but understand this is not a normal rpg requiring a specific party comp to be successful.
I have experience role-playing just not in games.

Hello
I am a fairly new at dnd and want to join but I can’t go to the first campaign because of work. Will I be able to join the next.

Hello,
I'm fairly new to DnD and would love to give it a shot to try and get into it. It would be awesome if you still organizing campaigns.
