Trying to get back into 1 on 1 rp

I've been wanting to get back into 1 on 1 rp instead of only group roleplays, would anyone be interested? :)

Out of curiosity, how does something like that work?

Do you take turns being DM, or is one person always DM and one person always player, or is it freeform D&D-themed make-believe without anything prepared by a DM, or…?

It can sort of fluctuate between those kinds of things depending on the people. Though I would say it would kind of be like an adventure where there is no designated DM both players play a character and can dictate what happens around them. Kinda like a rp sandbox
