Hi I'm Ilja (they/he), and I'm a newbie DM looking to start a short campaign that could turn long-term with any luck. Looking for LGBTQ+/Friendly players who have any type of experience. I've been a player in a long-running homebrew campaign for over a year and I'm looking to branch out into a new world. The setting for my game is best described as high fantasy with a sci-fi/cyberpunk vein running through it.
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: New Dm / a few years of experience as a player Location/Timezone: UK Schedule: Looking to play Fridays 7-10 at present, however times can be negotiated Roles sought: 3-4 players Game style: Casual/Roleplay heavy.
The Game:
Utopia was once the perfect city of tomorrow, flying carriages, vast communication relays, and towering pillars of magic energy. Over 200 years ago, the city was founded on a rich vein of power and since then, the collection of ramshackle buildings has flourished into a 4 ringed city of white stone and pulsating neon magic.
The power comes from blue crystals, dubbed ‘Utopiate’, a gem only found deep beneath the city where it is mined out by the poorest of the city’s outer ring. They resonate and ring out with planar energy, connecting with the alchemical bonds of the universe. They have helped to merge science and magic with once unthinkable results. Slowly, however, the resources have dwindled. The caves have run dry, leaving the world as we know it on the brink of being wiped out where untamed magic destabilises the very existence of all creatures.
The mages have turned to those on the outskirts of utopia for someone to chase after an artefact only written about in ancient lore. Where can it be found? In the UnNown, outside of Utopia. A world awaits. Nobody has truly seen it in hundreds of years beyond the smaller cities that dot the landscape but it is out there, and it is calling to you.
You are tasked with heading beyond the 4 rings to retrieve what may be the only clue to saving the world you know. Welcome to the wilds of the UnNown, and say goodbye to Utopia.

We are a group of 3 friends and looking to join a campaign together as players. This sounds really fun and the setting is super intriguing. We would be very interested in talking with you further about us joining your adventure, I have sent a friend request on discord. My name is Kuppacoffee and I am looking forward to your reply!
