CURSE OF STRAHD // LEVELS 2-13 // LOOKING FOR PLAYERS // 4 TIMES A MONTH ON Saturdays, 6 PMPST
Under raging storm clouds, the vampire Count Strahd von Zarovich stands silhouetted against the ancient walls of Castle Ravenloft. Rumbling thunder pounds the castle spires. The wind's howling increases as he turns his gaze down toward the village of Barovia. Far below, yet not beyond his keen eyesight, a party of adventurers has just entered his domain. Strahd's face forms the barest hint of a smile as his dark plan unfolds. He knew they were coming, and he knows why they came -- all according to his plan. A lightning flash rips through the darkness, but Strahd is gone. Only the howling of the wind fills the midnight air. The master of Castle Ravenloft is having guests for dinner. And you are invited.

About Me: Hi! I'm the DM, Dreamer! I'm an avid fan of D&D and serial dungeon master. I got into D&D when I was a teenager, but started DMing for real during the pandemic. Recently, I have turned my passion into a job, and became a Pro-DM. I currently run two other campaigns, one on-going for about 2 years now and the other about 11 months into it!
Why should you join my game? If you are looking for a consistent DM, who won't miss sessions and will give you the best experience they possibly can every session, then you are in the right place. I may struggle with voices here and there, but at the end of the day we're all here to have fun!
If you are interested, please apply below and please list the following! - Name - Age - Pronouns/Gender - A bit about yourself - Character ideas/concepts you think will be fun - What you like about DND(Combat, Roleplay, Exploration, etc.) - And anything else you feel is fitting!
I also have discord if you'd like to reach out there, just PM me! Hope to see you all soon!
- A bit about yourself: I currently work in the medical field, I have a cat named Cola, and I have 1,700+ individual dice (183 sets of dice).
- Character ideas/concepts you think will be fun: I personally make all of my characters through complete RNG and for the character I rolled, I got a Half-Elf Swarmkeeper Ranger who has the City Guard background. I think it would be very fun and interesting to explore this dark world with that background.
- What you like about DND(Combat, Roleplay, Exploration, etc.): So far I like the concept of roleplay and storytelling best in D&D. Given, I do like all aspects of D&D, but the concept of telling stories with some friends about how my D&D game is going and telling these off-the-wall stories of fun and adventure is always great.
- And anything else you feel is fitting!: I NEVER ran CoS before and would really like to experience it at least once.
Name - Claire - Age - 20 - Pronouns/Gender - She/Her - A bit about yourself - I'm a geology major in college, I studied Latin so I can translate the bg3 spells, and my roommate has a dog named Ziggurat. - Character ideas/concepts you think will be fun - I've really been wanting to play a spores druid, and with the amount of undead in CoS I think it would be super fun. I was also thinking about maybe playing a necromancy wizard who hates undead and just wants to stop what's happening in Barovia. - What you like about DND(Combat, Roleplay, Exploration, etc.) - I'm definitely more roleplay/lore focused, but I like combat as well! The social aspect of dnd is my favorite by far, and meeting new people is always awesome. - And anything else you feel is fitting! - My roommate also has a lizard named after a CoS character and somehow I have still never played CoS. The lizards name is Lysaga.
Name: Burpee - Age: 35 - Pronouns/Gender: Male he/him - A bit about yourself: Complete beginner to D&D, been curious in trying it out lately. I'm a father to two little ones, so I would be available later on in the evenings (CST). - Character ideas/concepts you think will be fun: Since i've got no experience with D&D i've just been reading stuff online and thinking about characters from fantasy books, movies, and games that I would like to play. I came up with wanting to try a hill dwarf cleric because in most rpg video games I usually go melee. So I think something that does a bit of both and can support the group could be fun. - What you like about DND(Combat, Roleplay, Exploration, etc.): I guess I cant really say right now as I have never played before but the whole experience seems like a good time.
A bit about yourself: I'm in my last year of college as an animation major. For the most part I'm new to DND; played one game with some friends and Baldur's Gate 3 on my own.
Character ideas/concepts you think will be fun: I love the 'who's the real monster trope' so I've been thinking of playing a Mirrorkin/Doppelganger who's a fighter/sorcerer or blood hunter who struggles with identity. Or if I want to play as someone who's more lighthearted I have a gnome druid who is pretty smart, but intelligence/wisdom is offset by just how completely oblivious and gullible he is.
What you like about DND: I'm pretty new to this but I'd say I'm more of a roleplay person. I love the story and lore of things but I also like having combat to liven things up.
Anything else: I should be good to play on Saturdays pretty much any time.
A little about me: I'm an ER nurse who is just really wanting to try to get into DND. I used to play every now and again in highschool, so I am very much a beginner!
Character idea: I have a Tabaxi druid who is a former pirate- her former ship was attacked and she was the only survivor, and before then was abandoned as a cub before being adopted by her former crew mates. She has a curse that causes rather.. unlucky events to happen around her. It varies between simple and minor inconveniences to bigger mishaps. She has no idea she is cursed, and rather just thinks that since she's a black cat it's not unusual for unlucky things to happen to her or those around her. She tries to use this to her advantage in certain situations, but really the curse is rather unpredictable. I just created her and I have not had the opportunity to play as her character just yet. There is meant to be a deeper story behind her and her curse that could lead to its own quest, but I'd leave that up to the DM's discretion.
- Name: Tei - Age: 25 - Gender: Female - A bit about yourself: I am a newbie at D&D, I've only played 1 one-shot and absolutely enjoyed it and want to play some more. I'm a graduating college student and want to find a hobby before being part of the workforce. My time zone is GMT+8 and your schedule is good with me. - Character ideas/concepts you think will be fun: I think I want to play a support character, maybe a high-elf or fairy cleric that is sheltered from the world for most of her life and wants to explore and find her purpose. - What you like about DND: I like the adventuring and combat part. Makes my brain turn because of the strategies.
- Kieran - 30 - He/Him - I've played DND since I was about 20 however it is very difficult to join local groups as I work nightshift and tend to stick to this sleeping pattern 6pst would be roughly 2am for myself however this is perfect for myself although that sounds insane so week by week I can be extremely reliable(What else am I doing at that time? Haha) - My most played character is clerics of all shapes and sizes, only avoid playing the moody broody type and if playing lawful good I am not going to bully the evil PC for pickpocketing the merchant, RP around it - I usually take a 70-30 split of RP/Combat. Always happy for an opportunity to use those seemingly pointless features for a class or race. - No idea what else would be fitting or interesting about myself. I am from England, non confrontational and more than excited to meet new peoples. DISCORD:seruim1993

I have been playing for a few years. I have been running homebrew campaigns for a year now. Looking to be a player again.
I have a ton of concepts I want to try and I am pretty open to melding with the party. Personally I'm thinking maybe a fighter/blood hunter.
I think a good 60/40 or 70/30 roleplay/combat
