Session 1 Part 3 (wrap up)

Meanwhile back in the village, Bjorn, Tegrat, Preston, and Robbie all arrived to the scene, as a Giant Stone Golem rampaged in the center of the town.  Two townsfolk stood with the adventurers as they fought against the Golem. The townies helping with a few potions and cure wounds as the Golem raged. Eventually the party managed to take down the brute.  After investigating the scene and trying to determine where the beast had originated from, They could only assume it rose up from underground.  Kalessa the local innkeeper came out to gossip about the recent upset now that the trouble was over as well as offer the group 50 gold to investigate a rising evil presence in Lance Rock.  With the offer of money the four all quickly agreed.  Then looked to each other realizing that they all agreed to do this together and officially forming an adventuring party.

They went back to the tavern and made introductions as they drank and made a plan for the next morning.  Tegrat watching Mother Yalantha’s across the way, making sure that the strange individuals that she dined with where not up to anything in the evening.  After they were finished and parted ways to their respective places of stay.  The next morning they got up and set out for Lance Rock.

On their way they encountered a merchant cart with meat pies.  They hastily scarfed them down and happily went on their way!  A nice food buff in their back pocket for the trials ahead.

Upon reaching Lance Rock they too would find the Ogre laying in the doorway, having been resurrected that morning.  He attacks and they have another fight on their hands.  After Robbie takes a few punches, they manage to topple the being.  They stop here for a short rest and the session ends.

I have run Strahd once through already with a group of people new and experienced.  We had a lot of fun and a lot of laughs!  Popular debate of the Campaign, "Is Strahd Von Zarovich a Simp Lord?"
