Ten years ago, a devastating plague raged across the Kingdom of Lumin. The strongest were hit the hardest by this magical plague, leaving the Kingdom rid of their most prominent adventurers and soldiers. The crime rate spiked. The Kingdom was about to fall into ruins. But just as quickly as it came, the plague dissipated.

Since then, the Kingdom has rebuilt itself. Life moves on, under the leadership of King Wallace. Peace has resettled onto the land. Everyone seems to be healing...

...Until the induction of a new noble reveals a new evil lurking in wait.

Game: D&D 5e; "In the Moon's Shadow"
Group type: Online, text-based (play-by-post style, on Discord)
Experience: 8 months experience in D&D, 2 months as DM, 5 years in text-based roleplaying. This will be my first time merging all three, though.
Timezone: EST
Schedule: Since this will be text-based, there will be no set schedule. Continue the story whenever you're available! I do, however, expect at least 1 post a day, unless you call out beforehand.
Roles sought: 6 players, give or take 2
Game style: 80/20 roleplay/combat ratio, heavily story/roleplay-focused, will likely be long-term

I'm looking for a semi-serious group of players that can show some commitment. Decent grammar is not mandatory, but preferred. I'm also still relatively new to DMing and D&D in general, so please cut me some slack!

I don't mind if you're new to D&D; most of my players so far have been, and I'm willing to help you out! I also don't have a specific age range in mind, as long as you're okay with darker topics/themes (nothing past what already exists in official content, though). I will always try to be family-friendly, but you can never be too careful.

Hello!! I found this post on a whim (the other campaigns im in are on hiatus or got cancelled so im gnawing at the bars of my enclosure to play HBLKJB) and I'm super interested!! I've been doing text based roleplay for a few years now, and I was part of a play by post dnd homebrew before it got cancelled! As for regular dnd I've been playing for two years, but been hyperfixated for like four now. I'm pretty lucky that my schedule is open enough for me to post at least once a day, even while in college lol
