Game style: My vision for this campaign is to give proper credence to the module’s gothic horror themes. As such, it will be my goal in every session you provide a sense of terror, dread, or the creeps. That’s not to say that the campaign will never be light-hearted, but I do want to emphasize that I will be leaning hard into the gothic horror motifs.

I’ve been playing D&D and Pathfinder for 20+ years and thus have an expert-level understanding of what it takes to create an enjoyable role-play experience. I’ve served as a DM for the past five years, having run Curse of Strahd twice in that time for two different groups, so I have the necessary knowledge of the campaign module to run a seamless campaign.

As a DM, I pride myself in being an immersive storyteller. I have an extensive background in acting and drama direction, and I bring those skills with me to the D&D table, creating realistic and memorable NPCs with dynamic voices and accents. I encourage my players to fully embody their characters, and I strive to facilitate meaningful inter-character connection.

For stats, I will have you roll two sets of 4d6, and you may choose to either use one of your rolled sets or use a modified standard array of 16, 14, 13, 11, 10, 9.

I would prefer players to stick with the more conventional races, but I am not opposed to players choosing a more exotic race provided they have proper justification.
