Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Veteran (who still needs to refer to the book because I cut my teeth on AD&D, then spent a lot of time in 3.5. Occasionally my brain blips to older systems.) Location/Timezone: East coast USA (EST) Availability: Weekend evenings, Monday evenings, Thursday evenings (16:00-22:00). I'm occasionally on film sets, but I'm good at giving advanced heads-up if I need to step out for an evening) Preferred role: Player Game style: Roleplay-based with stakes. I really enjoy games where there is emphasis on story and the backstories of characters matter, but character choices have stakes. I really enjoy groups where the DM and payers are building a story together, give each other room in the spotlight, and players aren't afraid to give their character shortcomings for more creative gameplay. I enjoy some combat, because I think the heightened circumstances are interesting, but it's not necessarily required.
Hello! My long-term D&D group has fizzled out with the departure of our DM and I very much miss playing. I've been playing the game for about 26 years in different iterations, but I really just enjoy some gameplay with a good storytelling group. If you have a home for a chill, story-based gamer for even a short run, I'd be happy to hear from you. LGBTQIA+ friendly preferred.
