Hello I have never played D&D before and have been listening to the Nerd Pokers podcast for the last couple of years which has caused a huge interest of playing. I am in search of a patient group willing to bring in a beginner and help figure out how to properly play the game. Thank you.
Hey :) I'm a DM and I currently have 2 brand new players that are wanting to learn, so i'm starting up a group with them as their DM. I have a few questions first.
What type of game are you looking for? Do you have a preference between homebrew or published adventures? What is your age? 18+ is preferable, but with 16 being a minimum. Do you have discord and a Roll20 account? Both are free. We use Roll20 as the virtual tabletop and Discord for the voice chat. A decent Microphone is required What time zone are you in? What times will you be available and what days of the week?
I can't say when the games will be hosted or if they will be on the same day and time each week since I never know until the game is filled up. Usually it works best to take it week by week to see when everyone is available. I also have a rule where if someone can't make it, it's no big deal and we let them get caught up later. We are also going to wait to pick a setting when we get another player in so we can see what everyone's preference is. I can run almost anything!
I love teaching new people and getting them into this fantastic hobby! You would be most welcome to join in and have fun with us if everything works out!
Hey do you have room for anyone else? I need a new group of people to play with and a group of beginners sounds like a good way to refresh myself with the rules
Hello Tentons01. If you have any space available I'm interested in joining.
I'm a relatively new player (though I have read and watched a lot) who is open-minded and open to any play style, modded or homebrew. I'm in my late 30's living in GMT+1 and am free late Mon and Thurs evenings and anytime Friday and Saturday. I have Discord and can set up a Roll 20 account no problem.
If you think I could be a good fit, I can reached on discord: now_thays_rich

Thank you for your consideration.
If you're putting a group together and have any space left, I'm interested.
