Hi, my name is Dani and I am looking for players for my homebrew 5e campaign. I am a long time DM with this world and im looking to add a new chapter to the history books. This game is beginner friendly and LGBTQIA+ friendly. Please be kind. The theme of the game is semi post-apocalyptic and heavy roleplay.
Game time is Sundays, weekly, at 3pm EST (flexible hours). I am looking for 6 people to play in Discord with me. Let me know if you want to play, reply with a little bit about yourself and a little bit about your possible character concept. Thanks everyone!
The world is high fantasy but an age just passed with a mysterious and deadly shadow cloaking most of the world. The appearence of this shadow has sent most cities and towns into a spiral of chaos. Flames lick at the sky and blood runs thick in the streets, hopefully a few heroes can rise up and bring back the peace of the previous era.
Hi, I'm Tao and I'm intrested in your campaign, I have played DnD (5e) before so I'm not a newbi, but unless its on my chareacter sheet I might not remember what something does, the planned start time being Sunday around 3pm EST works for me.
as for a character concept, I'd like to play a changeling bard focused on the power of words, but still using music for somatic components, who has managed to survive thanks to their silver tongue, and their ability to quickly change apperance to get away from or confuse anyone who might want to hurt them
Hello, I'm Rue and I am also interested in your campaign! I have played DnD 5e for some time but it's been a bit since I've had a game so I may be a bit rusty. The planned start time works perfectly for me.
For a character concept, I'd like to play a cheerful and curious cleric who loves learning new things about the world. They claim to have survived the old world because of what they learned from the people that came before them.
Hello, I'm Mak! I've been playing as a player and DM for about 4 years now. The time would work for me and the premise sounds interesting! I am also very much interested in heavy RP (that's one of the main reasons I play) and I spend a lot of time developing rich backstories for my characters, with an emphasis on interactions and relationships with the rest of the party to move everyone's stories forward!
I have a few character ideas I haven't been able to realize yet that might be possibilities:
- A seemingly odd, dour, mute/near mute tiefling druid who is new to interacting with people and is somewhat naive to the greater world, but longs for friendship and connection. A wild thing, she knows little of the customs of greater civilization. Preserving the natural world is important to her due to her upbringing in the wilds, and she would take on a quest to resolve the world's dark era in pursuit of this.
- A bright, optimistic triton rogue who knows little of where she came from. Once having a life of adventure on the high seas, tragedy after tragedy striking has led her to be mostly land-bound for the time being; she seeks to help others and to explore, as well as find lost friends and the truth to her parentage.
- A motherly, but sad and somewhat lonely tiefling warlock who has suffered incredible loss in the dark time that has befallen the land. Cursed and blessed by her patron, she seeks to tie up the loose ends of her past in order to carve out a possible future if not for her, then her family and those around her.
Let me know if any of these (and myself!) might be a good fit!
Hello Dani, I'd be interested in your game. Little about myself names Brenton or Red. Been playing DnD, Pathfinder, Warhammer, and other tabletop systems for about 29 years. Started with basic but mostly played ADnD 2nd for the longest time. I'm former military so there is very little that offends me. I think I'm fairly laid back and easy going, I like to get into the roleplay and best when everyone is having a good time and having fun.
As to a character concept depends on the rest of the group class wise. But being a post apocalypse sort of event. Thinking a monk, being a bit of a brawler in underground fight/arena scenes. Sort of a fighter for hire to earn gold to buy food for orphaned street urchins. With the cities plunged into chaos he turns to seeking work.
Hi Dani. My name is Jude and I am a 21yo student from England. I would definitely be able to join you since it is only an 8pm start for me however it means I may not be able to play for more than 4 hours at a time (maybe with some wiggle room). I have been playing 5e on and off for 5 years but I have been heavily into it for about 3 years.
I am really interested in the idea of an arcane archer fighter/warlock multiclass, someone who supports the party by weakening their foes rather than supporting allies directly. I understand that this character wouldn't actually be possible below lvl4 though so I would be happy to start as a lvl1 fighter and work my way up to this concept. Ideally he would be themed around the raven queen, having her as a warlock patron (which is in unearthed arcana so I understand if thats a hard no) and the race being Shadar-Kai. His parents escaped from the clutches of the raven queen so she found her way to their only son instead. If the raven queen doesn't exist in your universe I am obviously happy to make compromises with this :)
Hello, I've been playing for around 2 years and have played a lot of different classes. I haven't been able to finish a campaign yet so most of the characters I've played have been on the low level spectrum. I don't have a character concept ATM but coming up with one is something I enjoy doing.
Hi my name Is Abigail and my character is a drow female named Zinmyra Moonfire she is a bard. I am Aromatic and have asperger's. I have very little experience with playing d and d I have only joined two campaigns and both ended short and I'm really hoping to join if possible. I'm from Florida. And I like shows like Stinky Dragons adventures, Vox Machina, Critical Role, and the movie Dungeons and Dragons Honer among Thieves. My character is a bard that can cook, knows herbs, and is a follower of Eilistraee. She is lives in a melting pot communicate with different faces. She is on a journey to find adventure from her small town home.
I am Emilio. I have been playing D&D 5E since summer of 2017, mostly DMing and introducing people to the hobby. I have a backlog of characters that I would love to try out, but I try to think of what the party needs when creating characters. I would like to play a rough around the edges character that is trying to find where he fits in the world, and depending on the options available, I have a few thought out characters I could discuss further if selected.
