My old post is more than 100+ pages back, I checked. I saw nothing similar, while looking through those 100 pages of more current LFG titles, and decided to start a new thread.
Experienced player and DM, but without the books these days, seeks a live table group to play with. A long shot, I know, but one worth taking. My play style; role play and story building heavy, less concerned with maxing the mechanics and gaining goodies.
I'm 60 years old, there's nothing I can do about that, and am still learning the ins and outs of 5E. Have tried online gaming, but find it difficult to enjoy; no physical presence to connect with, can't share sandwiches and beverages with remote players. Can even host, in a house with a beautiful view of Puget Sound.
My current schedule is fairly flexible, during evening time. Anyone out there have a seat available?
I qould conider myself an expeienced player, though its been years.
I am a 57 year old gay guy with one leg...i use a prosthesis.
I have all the new books, but also am trying to learn the ins and outs of 5e. I like sandwiches and laughing with fellow players over what just happened or is about to happen.
I started playind 2nd ED. AD&D in High school with a straight nieghbor.
I invested in a bunch of contenr at D&D beyond.com, buy dont know how to use it.
I gave up looking for a D&D group. I'm now the game master for a table of folks ages late 30s to 60s. We play using Savage rules (SWADE).
If you don't mind playing D&D at a public venue, I've since learned about a local game store that hosts. It's too noisy and distracting for me, with all the people and the different games going on at one time, but I'll see if I can locate the store's name and address.
Message me if you'd like the information.

Still searching. Can GM a non-D&D platform as well.
Is anyone out there?

I'd rather play, but I'll happily DM as well.
