Hello, I am really wanting to get into DnD. I am relatively new but understand the basic concepts. Because of my crazy work schedule I need a group that only meets 2 or 3 times a month so I can change my schedule to match. It's really hard for me because of the role I fill in my company to request any specific days off every week. So If I could find a group that could meet on specific days like he 14th and 28th every month or something along those lines it would be really helpful. But I would like to start a new campaign instead of joining an existing one just because I am new and think starting from scratch would probably be the best. I look forward to hearing from people.
I would also consider doing some one shots if that might be better than a true campaign, but I'm not sure what the real difference is other than you only meet once.
