New to DnD, looking to learn the ropes.

Hi there, fellow adventurers! I'm looking to begin playing DnD after making some friends who play this game. Since seeing how it all unfolds and the endless possibilities within the different campaigns, I have become rather invested and don't have a clue where to begin. I am looking for some willing adventurers to show me the ropes and to induct me into the world of DnD. Feel free to PM me or reply to this thread if you are up for the task.

Hi BigToucan, I'll be starting a new campaign soon (in the next week or two) and I'm looking for a new player or two. You're welcome to join if you like.

We'll probably be playing Saturday or Sunday mornings from 9 to noon (US eastern time). It's probably pretty early for anyone west of eastern, but I think it's early/mid afternoon for UK/European/African timezones.

I just finished a second playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3, so I'm going to run Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus, which is a prequel of sorts to BG3. I think it'll be a tough but fun campaign.

We'll be using DnDBeyond character sheets and we'll use AboveVTT for maps/combat/etc. I'll also make a Discord channel for all the game related info.
