About Me

I have been running D&D games for almost twenty years now, and have been having a total blast the entire time. There’s just something magical about tabletop games and running a really good session that just puts a smile on my face. I’ve run the entire gambit of D&D, from running modules, writing 60+ page setting books, a four part homebrew adventure, west marches, and more. I love D&D, and I want to bring that energy into every game I run, and I always can't wait to see what adventures my players will take me on during the course of a game.

Why Custom Campaigns?

I am an avid writer and designer, and while I like many of the official campaigns I’ve always preferred to run custom games in the official settings or even write my own settings. I often build these games as if they were official modules, I design the encounters, the maps, and the overall plot. This method helps me give players a much stronger sense of ownership of their characters and their place in the world, as their backstories will come up in the course of a campaign and greatly affect the world at large.

I’m always here for people new to D&D or online play, I’m more than happy to sit down with anyone and go over the rules, how various systems work, and generally just make it as easy as possible to get in and start playing.

In the aftermath of a great political upheaval in Waterdeep many skilled adventurers are turning their eyes onto a new career path, becoming Detectives and dedicating themselves to unmasking the strange mysteries plaguing the City of Splendors. This campaign features a series of cases taking players from level 3 to 9 with plenty of room for personal stories and side quests to explore the strange city of Waterdeep.

Free First Session

Waterdeep Detectives is about to have it's first official launch, the first session is free for anyone wanting to try it out. I'll also have a free session 0 as well, as I also like to have a chat with players about their characters and their backgrounds beforehand as well.
