So, I'll start with the boring details. We are a 4 player group looking for a fifth. We are all in PST, however that isn't mandatory. Just be very mindful all you eastern people. Next, we run on Sundays at 5:30pm with the only other available time being Friday at 7:00pm. So if you can't make Sundays, please look elsewhere. Finally, we are all adults. I am not against younger players, but just know we do play with heavy themes.
Now that that's out of the way, heres the campaign. I run a homebrew world with a couple years of writing behind it. It's not perfect, but I do my best to make it compelling, and more importantly, open for the players. My games focus a lot on roleplay. From exploration to dialogue to story and character arcs, that is my specialty. I do run with homebrew rules, though most of them are fairly intuitive, and all are in writing. Finally for my dming style, I follow the rule of cool. If it makes sense, screw the rules. I encourage out of the box thinking, and would love to be challenged in meaningful ways.
So now onto you as a player, what you should do, and what you should know. First off, some things you should know. No being overtly rude, try to stay friendly. My world holds themes of racism and bigotry, but I ask that none of that escape the game. Try not to bully other players and characters. And if you struggle with themes of gore, cruelty, or other adult subjects, please continue at your own discretion. Finally, I don't want to do anything the players don't like, so if I think a tough topic will come up, I will warn and talk with players, and I openly accept issues you may have.
As a player, I ask that you be ready to act in character, atleast after a while, I understand how roleplaying in front of strangers can be. I ask that you have a backstory planned. I'm fine if you would like to hear about the setting first, and I will help fit your character into the world. I just ask you be willing to write a somewhat detailed backstory.
I know this is long, but please make sure you understand before continuing. So now, the game. It takes place on discord and roll 20, with dndbeyond for character sheets. I will try to be active on here, but if you want to make sure you reach me, send me a friend request at canimanamino#6850.
EDIT, Full
