Game: Dungeons & Dragons 5e Group preferred: Face-to-face or Online Experience: 7 years (in-person and online) Location/Timezone: San Francisco, California / PST (UTC-08:00) Availability: Every day after 5 PM/17:00 Preferred role: Player Game style: I'm looking for a classical medieval adventure, focused more on roleplay. I also enjoy combat, once per session or every other session. Good aligned character.
Additional Info:
I've been playing D&D for seven years now, both in person and online. I've done short and long campaigns.
I'm looking for a group that enjoys staying in character most of the time and has fun roleplaying with each other as much as with the GM's characters. I'm primarily interested in the Forgotten Realms as a setting, but I'm open to others (even homebrewed ones) so long as they're medieval/antiquity inspired. I enjoy solving puzzles as a group, uncovering mysteries, and of course combat (once per session or once every other session is great). My characters are flawed (I enjoy roleplaying their development) but ultimately good in terms of morality. I'm okay with themes of violence, oppression, and even brutality, so long as they're a hurdle for us to overcome and there to contrast the good deeds of others (and the players).
I'm running an online *open table* game. Standard fantasy, but not Forgotten Realms. Homebrew rules with 5E elements, but not by-the-book 5E - no D&D Beyond, no VTT. If I can gather enough nearby Bay Area players then perhaps we can have some face-to-face sessions, but it's all Discord for now. You're welcome to join.
