This adventure concerns a once-proud fortress that fell into the earth in an age long past. Now known as the Sunless Citadel, its echoing, broken halls house malign creatures. Evil has taken root at the citadel's core, which is deep within a subterranean garden of blighted foliage. Here a terrible tree and its dark shepherd plot in darkness.

The Sunless Citadel is part of the dungeon anthology, Tales from the Yawning Portal, and will take your character from level 1 to level 3.

This campaign is played in a Play-by-Post (PbP) format, facilitated through the D&D Beyond forums, with maps through Owlbear Rodeo and OOC conversations and notifications through Discord. The game is fully compatible with a broad range of devices, including tablets and phones. As your DM, I'll be checking in and updating the game multiple times daily. Players are encouraged to participate at least once a day, especially when their characters are involved in active scenes.
