Anchored: Echoes of the Afterlife

You are revived by a mysterious ship that harvests the souls of those with unfinished business. The ship, pursued relentlessly by the Order of the Platinum Dragon, offers you a second chance at life through a unique contract: in exchange for protecting the ship, your soul remains anchored to a new body, preventing you from becoming a lost spirit. When you're ready to move on, the ship retains any treasure you've accumulated during your second life.

For your backstory, you simply need a compelling unfinished task—whether it’s seeking revenge against the villain who wronged you and your family, completing a divine quest, or finishing the last chapter of your manuscript. Whatever your story, it's your drive to resolve these unresolved matters that keeps you tethered to the world of the living. Also if you can include in your backstory how you died and your last moments.
