Group preferred: Online with a VTT, music, focused on immersion. 18+, LGBTQ+ friendly and diverse. Weekly or Bi-weekly. Long-term capaigns only, no one-shots or westmarches.
Experience: Been on and off playing for 10+ years, my first and only long term campaign was in high school and never again I was able to find a long running group, either to life happening, lack of ppl around me willing to play, DM's losing interest or schedules not aligning. I've been surviving my need to RP by playing lots of videogames, watching Critical Role and every fantasy movie or tv show possible, but I still deeply miss playing tabletop RPGs for real, in a long campaign with a compelling story and character development.
Location/Timezone: BRT (GMT-3, EST+1)
Availability: Pretty much all evenings on weekdays / afternoons and evenings on Saturdays, all day on Sundays (Exceptions: 1 fri-sat-sun per month when I go visit my family and/or work emergencies).
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I'm a big fan of "realistic" approaches to fantastic scenarios, campaigns that allow a lot of RP and character development, that encourage playing your flaws and dealing with the consequences, morally gray characters, political intrigue, overall serious and intense, but with an opening for jokes and funny moments. I like combats that aren't simply random encounters to challenge the party but rather have a motive for the conflict, if the reason is no more the combat ends, either by an agreement, defeat of one side, self preservation, etc. Above all though, I'm here to have fun and create a shared narrative, I actually don't like being the main character, usually creating characters that are weak, scared, lost at first and seeing their personality get shaped by the need of surviving the world around them.
Some themes I'm curious to play are: The Witcher, Exandria, anything pirate-themed, Medieval Japan.
Game: D&D 5e
