*Tales from I’caria: When the King Disappeared*
Game: D&D 5e
Group type: Online (Discord; my name is elltheelder on there dm if interested)
Experience: New to DMing but not new to DnD or TTRPGs
Location/Timezone: EST
Schedule: Saturdays @ 7pm est (not tomorrow, but I would like to have session zero in the next week or two)
Roles sought: 5(maybe 6) players
Game style: Heavy on the role play with a decent amount of action
Age Range: 17+, this campaign may/will deal with some heavy topics
The super continent of I’caria is home to many countries, some peaceful, some not. Political unrest and wars is not uncommon in its history. But recently there has been a period of peace. And peace is uncommon and that peace is currently being threaten by a small country gone rogue.
The Kingdom of Oshia is threatening war against any who opposes it’s rule. Which, currently, is everyone. It use to be a peaceful, neutral nation, but when the King disappeared, it all went to chaos. Laws become stricter and the nation locked itself down, isolating from the rest of continent. No one could go in or out.
But it’s been rumored that there is a man willing to sponsor a group to go in and settle this before things turn into all out war. The tale goes that he has specially selected a group, sent out letters to the individuals he think best for the job. How your name was in the mix, you have no clue, but it was and the letter you received was.. Tempting. Now you have the choice to partner with strangers from other lands and potentially rescue a nation under threat.
I'm interested in joining, do you expect this to be a long campaign?
Wife and I are both looking to play online on weekends if you're still looking. Couldn't find you through Discord, but I'm kurigin on there.
I'm expecting it to be mid to long term. I have few plot points/side quests planned that might take a while.
