New to EU and looking to play

• What's your experience: Started playing DnD with 3E and picked up 5E after a long hiatus. I've been playing 5E for a few years now, playing through Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, Ghosts of Saltmarsh, Dragonlance: SotDQ, and about half through Curse of Strahd before that game fell apart. Artificer is my favorite class (stoked for the new UA and upcoming reboot with the new ruleset), but I've played a Drunk Monk Traveling Chef, an Eldritch Knight/Armorer, and a Celestial Warlock masquerading as a Cleric. Mostly played online through a combination of DnD Beyond and Roll20.
• Anything else about yourself (Optional): I have made some great friends through online play and looking to make some more. I recently moved to Germany from the US with my dog, an Olde English Bulldogge named Luna. I had to quit a couple of games because of the move to the EU and the time difference making it impossible to continue.

• Anything else about yourself (Optional): I have a moderate amount of knowledge and experience with rules and lore in a few settings as I'm currently in 4 different campaigns (PBP is notoriously slow going). My DDB subscription is master tier so I have a few books to share but they are mainly character creation options as that's how I spend my free time at work. I'm calm, well spoken and easy going with a great sense of humour. I get along with everyone from all walks of life and I'm very open minded. I'm happy to walk less experienced players through the basics if they seem to be struggling or just need a guiding hand every now and then. My availability is totally open as work allows me some freedom and I have quite a lot of free time in the evenings. Should they be required, camera and microphone availability is limited to just the evenings though.

Experience: I understand the basics, I’ve logged a good bit of hours into games like Baldur’s Gate and Divinity, listened to a few podcasts, so I’m familiar enough with the territory. However, this would be my first time playing for real. 

I’ve been wanting to start a game for years now but I can never find people to do so, then DnD Beyond was recommended to me. Eventually I want to be the DM of my own sessions, but all I have is ideas and no real experience so I’d like to dive in myself. A group of adventurers getting into trouble sounds like a good time.

• What's your experience: I've completed 1 one-shot as a player, which was a lot of fun, and I've started 2 or 3 other campaigns that were unable to be finished, as the majority of the group or the DM was unavailable when we got new jobs. Recently, I have been DMing a Lost Mines of Phandelver campaign with some friends, who have never played before, which has been a lot of fun! I'm really looking to play though, it's difficult to get this group together and I don't know many people in my day to day that have room in their groups, know how to play or want to play, so would love to get a regular game going, so I can enjoy myself and be a better player and DM!

• Anything else about yourself (Optional): I'm a full blooded nerd and i get very invested in the games I play.  My favorite setting is high fantasy but I also love dark/horror fantasy, classic sword and sorcery, and some j-fantasy, sci-fi and more unique settings.  I like homebrew settings, and aside from some non-dnd ttrpgs, thats all I'd player until very recently.  But I've now started playing in my first official 5e campaign (CoS) and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

I started playing back when I was 14years old, at 24 I stopped because of, you know, live, Girls, Job etc. Some month ago I stumbled over oxventure and critical role and restarted with the new 2024 Edition of D&D again. I have a group, but we only play every 14 days and that s not enough for me
