Hey! Fellow d&d player here struggling to find an online campaign due to the timezone differences 😭.
Although I currently live in Riyadh, the timezone is BST+2 so it aligns closely and works out much better for me. I am originally from the UK.
My name is Sarah. I am a 27F. Country: Saudi Arabia. my experience: I have been playing d&d for about 3/4 months now. I have read the 2024 PHB but the current campaign I’m in goes by 5e2014 rules so I am flexible with both. I have played on both roll20 and foundry and have used d&d beyond to create some characters. My discord is: sarahdactyl2901
Anything else: I am friendly, accepting of everyone, and I like to have a good time in campaigns. One of the most important aspects for me in d&d is the collaboration in telling a great story. I like to role-play but also love the drama and excitement of combat. Love puzzles because they awake a stubborn fire within me lol. Yeah, I hope that’s enough. I have so many characters just collecting dust on the she d&d beyond shelves :(. Ive been searching endlessly on the reddit lfg forum but the time zones will have me up at 3 am which doesn't work for me lol.
• What's your experience: Zero when it comes to TTRPG but I've been RP-ing (written) for about 8 years now? And all I know of D&D have been gleaned from memes, skits, sketches, and one campaign I watched on YT which is what pushed me to lowkey try to properly learn D&D since I've been wanting to learn it for a little over 5 years now but none of my friends ever have the time to teach me, so I'm just trying to take matters into my own hands at this point 😅 I love learning so I can usually pick things up as we go but I do ask questions to make sure I'm understanding things right 😅
• Do you meet the age requirement (18+): Yes! I'm soon-to-be 22
• Anything else about yourself (Optional): I've been writing for around 11 years now and I love lore and narratives, these are things I tend to hyperfixate heavily on, and I really enjoy getting to know and understand other people's characters. I am mostly good at adjusting to things deviating from my expectations and calculations, as well as improvising as if I thought everything through (I am much more articulate in writing but I struggle with a teensy bit of a stutter when speaking 😅)
• What's your experience: very new! I was in a campaign a little while back with some friends, but that unfortunately fell through a bit due to scheduling difficulties
• Age: 25
• Anything else about yourself (Optional): I'm really glad I saw this post! I enjoyed my last campaign a lot and I've been trying to find a way to play again since it fell through :)
