Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online or Face-to-face Experience: New Location/Timezone: USA, PDT Schedule: Weekends after noon Roles sought: DM (4 to 5 players)(accept new players) Game Info: Would like to run “The Lost Mine of Phandelver” with players who haven’t played the story before. 50/50 RP and Combat, and RP is done on discord, and Combat is done on DND Beyond, I personally would like to have a more serious group, and would like to put my own realistic attributes to the game. I am open to suggestions, and don’t mind bending the rule, but would like to stick with the rules. Will have a session 0 first. 🙂↕️👍 DISCORD: boingboing#3063
Hello, I'd be interested in joining, but I had some questions. When you say a more serious group, what exactly are you expecting? Like, no joke characters? I have an idea for a character I really like, but he has an unconventional backstory (drow adopted by dwarves). Would that be a problem? I'm also pretty new to DnD. I know the basic ideas of the game, but are still very unfamiliar with the rules and flow of everything.
more serious like in a game play in a way where I hope that one would care about ones character and try to immerse themselves in the game, as long as character make sense, and is not overly inappropriate I am all good
