Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: I have been playing several years but lore gathering for about 30 years. This is my second time running this campaign. Location/Timezone: I'm in EST but an early bird looking to run this campaign. Schedule: UTC 7am-11am on Saturday depending on players availability. Looking to have session zero on July 13th 2024 Roles sought: I have three experienced players joining the game already. Looking for 3 more players who enjoy combat and role play equally. I am willing to take on ONE newer player. Game style: Drakkenheim, for those who don't know it, was created by the dungeon dudes. It takes place in a universe made up by them. It revolves around a city that was struck by a meteor fifteen years prior that causes a mist to cover the city that corrupts those that try to remain within it. There are factions that are trying to control the city and rid it of the mists and eldritch horrors that reside inside. The game would have plenty of both combat and role playing. Political intrigue and horror are parts of this game.
I use discord and foundry vtt to run the game.
I am looking for players who aren't afraid to role play as a big part of this campaign is making alliances with factions.
Being a dark setting, the campaign urges DM's to include a content warning.
Violence, murder, blood, gore, cannibalism, and body horror. Degenerative mutations that cause physical disfigurement and madness/insanity. Rats, spiders, insects, demons, undead, ghosts, and other monsters. Natural disasters, large-scale loss of life, civil war, displaced persons, and refugees. Moral ambiguity, social/political manipulation, religious zealotry and military nationalism. The campaign does not contain explicit sexuality, sexual assault, racial prejudice, systemic racism, homophobia, or transphobia. Any inferences to such are wholly unintentional.
