EDIT: For now our group is full :) if any of the players decide not to play anymore and we have an open spot I will update this thread.
Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online (using discord voice and beyond for maps) Experience: looking for new(ish) players (18+!) Location/Timezone: preferably weekdays evenings central european time (CEST) Schedule: probably monthly, maybe bi-weekly (more of a casual game) Roles sought: looking for 2 more players (we already have 2 semi-new players) Game style: More of a lighthearted adventure with a good mix of roleplay, combat, puzzles and non-combat encounters. Starts off primarily on land but will lead to a more pirate adventure eventually.
Heya! I already have 2 somewhat new players for this campaign and the group decided they would like if the other players joining would also not be super experienced. Players with zero experience are welcome and I’d be happy to do a little beginner’s guide for anyone who’s interested.
As a DM, I’d say I’m experienced with the rules and mechanics as well as running a game, however, I’m still pretty new to roleplay as my former campaigns haven’t been focused on that. I’ve been into D&D for years and have been playing and Dm’ing for a while, but I’m also still learning and looking to practice.
If you’re interested, please leave a comment with a little introduction to your experience and availability in this thread and I will reach out to you. Please note that we are only looking for players that are at least 18 years old. It might take me a little to message you as I'm not on my computer a lot this weekend. We aren’t sure when exactly the game will start yet but as soon as we have 4 players we’ll be scheduling a Session 0 and talk about it.
Here is some info on the world we’ll be playing in:
Alyndra, the Mother of Creation, brought forth the world from the void, shaping the land, sea, and sky. To help her, she created seven children: Vorelian, Mareidon, Terris, Pyrrhus, Veridara, Seleneia, and Solarael, each ruling different aspects of creation. Three mortal kingdoms emerged: Aeloria, Valandor, and Galadorn, coexisting peacefully for centuries.
This peace shattered when Pyrrhus, God of Fire and War, envied Alyndra's power. Pyrrhus, with siblings Vorelian and Solarael, and the kingdom of Galadorn, rebelled. Valandor supported Alyndra first, followed by Aeloria, which initially remained neutral. The war devastated the land until Alyndra and her loyal gods defeated Pyrrhus. To restore balance, the gods entered an enchanted slumber, leaving mortals to rule.
Valandor emerged as the leading kingdom, guiding the world with wisdom. Aeloria focused on healing, earning respect for its late alliance with Alyndra. Galadorn sought redemption for its betrayal through valor and contributions. Today, the kingdoms coexist under Valandor's leadership, with the resting places of the gods shrouded in legend and mystery.
Where We Begin
In Valandor, where honor and valor reign, the Valandor Vanguard seeks new recruits. You start in Solhaven, a city of grand statues and ancient architecture, where the call to service echoes. Gathered by the Vanguard, you're transported to Crestfall for a rigorous selection process. Only the bravest will earn the Vanguard's crest and defend the kingdom. Your journey begins on the road to Crestfall, filled with challenges and opportunities.
Hello, my name is Mello and I'm a 26 year old female. I am available on weekends and weekday evenings (CEST timezone).
I have very little experience playing DnD, only two sessions and that was a couple years ago. Though I do know quite a bit about DnD through reading stuff and watching games. I do enjoy to roleplay and very much love to create and imagine characters, places and scenarios.
The world you've created sounds very intriguing and I personally love the prospect of a pirate like adventure.
Hey, I'd be interested in joining if you end off having space. 28 year old male, not in CEST timezone but think it wouldn't cause any problems if going monthly or bi-weekly.
I have never played, a group of us locally tried to get something going but none of us had ever played and no one wanted to DM without having any experience playing so it got canned. Would love a chance to get playing the game after putting so much effort into trying to help organize it recently, and to see if I could maybe pick up enough to try dm'ing for the group locally (without missing out on getting to be a player if I did by playing here 😁).
You can call me Kikky, I'm a 25-year-old female, living in a CEST time-zone.
I never played DnD before, tried to get my friend-group into playing, but they didn't really want to. So, I am new to this.
Unfortunetly, I have job with 12-hour-shifts therefore I can have weeks where I don't have time between shifts to long games, so I can only join once a month. I can work around if needed.
I would love to play with your group, so write to me in case you need one more player.
