I live in a remote area of Colorado, USA, and I'm looking for a weekend game to join.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / In Person Experience: Veteran, but still learning 5e Location/Timezone: Cotopaxi, CO (US Mountain Time) Availability: Friday evenings, Saturday & Sunday afternoons or evenings. Preferred role: Player (Once I become more familiar with 5e, I'm willing to GM) Game style: I like games with variety, including opportunities for action and role play, and I prefer puzzle-light. I love playing with a variety of adults of all generations - creative, strategic, theatrical, humorous, etc. Just please be kind and if your jokes punch down, I'll call you out. I'm your cheeky Grandma, who likes playing light-hearted characters (mostly neutral-good), but I can also have fun with moody characters. My least favorite to play are lawful-good characters - B-O-R-I-N-G. I started playing D&D in 1978 with 1st edition and I have played every version. Yes, I have some dice that are probably older than most of you! Since moving to the mountains, I've had trouble finding in-person games, so my experience with 5e is spotty. I've been watching videos to prepare for the differences of game play.
P.S. I've also played other systems, e.g. Star Wars, LotR, Savage Worlds, Firefly, etc. so I'm adaptable.
Greetings, HafwenRhys. I just read your post and it intrigued me. Like you, I played D&D 1st edition starting in 1981 and stopped in the 90’s. I recently got back in it this year because my son started playing D&D in school and since he has asked me to help him, my passion for the game has reignited. I am in Louisiana CST and use Discord (Text only) and D&D Beyond to run my games. I am working with 4 players right now, but have some big projects in mind and I am looking for mature, dependable players. I am responding to you this way so I can keep a log of the people I have chatted with. If you are interested or have more questions for me, feel free to reply.
If we do Virtual Tabletop, it will have to be Friday and Saturday evenings. I have never done Play by Post, but I would like to try to accommodate everyone’s schedules.
Virtual, and Friday/Saturday evenings would work for me. I have never done Play by Post, either. I think I would prefer virtual. Feel free to send me a private message if you'd like me to join with more details.
Thank you!

Hello Cheez_Weezle,
I am interested! What day(s) of the week/times are you thinking?
Thank you,
H.R.
