How would you like to spend your Thursday evenings....in hell!? This is an ongoing campaign with a settled table with long term players. We are a very welcoming table with still plenty of this campaign left to go. If you like the setting or the idea of this campaign, then please do not hesitate to join us! Descent into Avernus, a dark and twisted adventure that takes the party to hell itself. Lots of twists, turns, deals and journeying across the hellscape in infernal war machines! Mad Max meets D&D fantasy in Avernus! The party have come far since first arriving in the holy city of Elturel, and trying to stop a conspiracy that saw the city attacked by infernal creatures and then dragged into hell itself! The arch-devil that led was very powerful, her burning vengeance shaking Elturel to its core. The city now seems to be fully suspended above the River Styx in Avernus. The party, needing to rescue the surviving residents of the city and escape Avernus, glided down to the surface of the hellscape. The adventurers are now following the path of Demons, looking for a celestial sword that their hollyphant companion, Lulu, believes can save Elturel before it sinks into the river Styx, and escape this firey inferno. To get there, the party plan to ride on Infernal War Machines, which will provide a taste of Mad Max in this brilliant and devilish campaign! Join me and a very welcoming and inclusive table of players, in this adventure of espionage, dark pacts, deals with devils, a city in despair and array harrowing choices to be made. This is my take on the famous Descent into Avernus campaign!
