Hello, I am looking for a dedicated D&D group that uses the 5.5e version, and this looks like a fitting group to join. I have been playing with a small group of friends on Roll20 so I understand some of the basics, even if I am still learning the overall game itself. If you would like to contact me on discord, I can provide you my discord information via DM. I am interested in potentially making a martial class, such as a fighter, or monk. (maybe both depending on what level we start at).
I admit you have me curious. I have a couple.of inquiries.
1) Regarding this "Spell Points" system thing.(vs spell slots?)
2) I do have a Wizard character id love to play again though she does have an interesting feature to her in that she is Mute. So, my question is if I would be allowed to use the homebrew "Mute Spellcaster" feat i have/found (possibly as a kind of "extra" in a way feat since its kind if integral to the concept). (TLDR: it takes away Verbal Components and Replaces them with Somatic (if the spell doesn't already have them) and gives the message Cantrip/+1 to intelligence/wisdom or Charisma) - A dm of mine that i 1st used this character concept with actually came up with a special/fantasy type of a Sign Language (Stærspell) that is specifically written around casting magic without speaking I can share if you like it.
