Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Three new, two somewhat experienced Location/Timezone: EST Schedule: To be discussed, most likely one evening a week. We want to work this out with the DM we find. Roles sought: DM Game style: We would prefer a homebrew/original campaign, but we aren't entirely against an officially written one either. We want our run to be relatively casual in terms of RP between our characters, but with a compelling storyline and narrative behind it all. As many in our group are new, we are looking for a DM who is willing to work somewhat slow to make sure the new players understand what is going on and can get the hang of it. It will be three peoples' first D&D experience ever, so some of the mechanics and such of the fighting, stats, and rolling may need to be explained to a certain extent. Preferably we'd like a lax campaign where encumbrance and hunger are not top priorities and we focus more on advancing the story, but we are willing to adjust. We are fine with either voice chat or a play-by-post sort of style (but in a discord text chat). We're willing to give websites like Roll20 a try, so long as our future DM is patient with us!
If you need any more information about what we're looking for or anything, send me a message and I can hopefully answer!
Heya caspurrs! I'm interested in DMing a campaign for you all. I am a (semi, mostly) experienced DM and I know my way around the handbooks pretty well: well enough to explain it. I am pretty lenient on things regarding mechanics like ammo tracking and eating and that kinda stuff. I am also open to doing any sort of 5e campaign, so I can use a world I've made if needed, but I can also do something like The Lost Mine of Phandelver too (or both mixed in). I'm also EST and pretty open to different days and times. I'd really like to DM for you all, so hit me up on Discord here if you're interested: Jsbier#7487
Hello there! I would love to DM for you! I am a new DM myself, but I am constantly improving. I love world building and making compelling stories and plots. Those would be my strong sides. I also enjoy helping develop characters and creating a fully immersive world. I am pretty chill with rules and numbers because I think it can take away from the experience. I am in the EST zone, and I can work around schedules. I am on discord as ExcessBicycles#8077 and I also use roll20 for visuals, and of course I can be accommodating. I'd love to chat and find out what else your group is looking for in a campaign!
