Hello to you all! I'm a relatively new player who first started out a little under a year ago by now, and I've been looking for a new group after my first ever campaign ended a few months ago. I'm looking for an accommodating group and game master, as I'm someone who can have quite a bit of trouble with some things, particularly decision making when it comes to D&D. I would prefer a group where we can play more often if possible, as both the campaign I'm currently already in and thinking about leaving and the game I run for my friends in person often gets interrupted by other things going on in everyone's lives.
Game System: D&D 5e. Player Name: Banana. Group Preferred: Online, through either play-by-post or Discord. Experience: I'll say new, but I've been playing for about one year. Times Available: My time zone is EST, and my schedule can change, though the generally I'm free all day on weekends and from around 7-10 p.m. on weekdays. I would prefer to play on weekends if possible. Preferred Role: Player. Preferred Class: Any, and I'll let you know ahead of time that I like multi-classing and some amounts of optimization just in case that's a dealbreaker for your group. As someone else said when describing me, I like a harmony of mechanics and roleplay. Character Level: Any. Game Style: I'm still new, so I'm not sure what I enjoy the most. For now, I'll say I like games with a bit more focus on the narrative, with a fairly balanced amount of meaningful and tactical combat and roleplaying. I'd prefer to have a more relaxed and experienced DM more willing to experiment with mechanics than my last DM. Pay-for-Play: Absolutely not, I have far too many reasons why I would definitely prefer to avoid paid games to put them all in this one forum post.
Update on my situation, I'm no longer part of my old group, which means I'm more focused on finding a new group.
