ADVENTURERS WANTED!!!

I am a semi-experienced DM who got back into Dungeons and Dragons earlier this year. I remember how tough and frustrating it was to get started and it took me some time to gain the confidence to play and DM.  I have run several successful, exciting One-Shots and campaigns and I am looking to help some NEW and Inexperienced Players get started in the world of LIVE Online gaming. 

I plan to put the party through a ONE-SHOT that I call, “The Citadel of Jawarl Avignon”

I am based in the United States CST and use D&D Beyond and Discord (Text only). My work schedule is hard to describe and it alternates, so I am looking for a group that can get together once a week (on average) that can adapt somewhat to my schedule. NOTE: As a rule, I will not be available Weekdays before 7:00PM

What I’m looking for:
- A player who wants to get some experience playing D&D Online, possibly for the first time, and needs a patient DM who will help them get more comfortable with the system. 
- I am looking for the right grouping of applicants, such as all from USA CST or adjacent, all from Europe, etc. 
- I am looking for players who are available, dependable, and mature. I plan to run the game about once/week on average.

Please answer the following questions and post your answers below. For right now, I am not interested in character sheets or backgrounds. I will sort thru the applicants and pick the best 8 to contact for additional details.

What 1st Level Character do you plan to play? What is the Race and Class? I will only consider the Races and Classes found in 2014 Players Handbook.

The character I would plan on play is a Tiefling Barbarian. I am located in central time zone. I work nights so early morning weekdays or anytime on the weekends would work best for me. 

I have been wanting to get into D&D for a while now, but haven’t really been able to find others who are willing to take on newbies. I would love to be able to use this session to get a better grasp on the rules and learn the game and hopefully be able to work up to longer campaigns.

I have built an Eladrin Elf Wizard. The Eladrin variant is not in the 2014 player handbook, but on DnD Beyond it is an example provided for making custom variants. If needed I can change the variant.

I have only played 2 sessions of DnD, so while I am a new player, I have spent time learning how the game works, and what my Character can do, if I need a different character, I can learn that one too.

I am looking for an online Campaign, but until then, I would appreciate practice with this one-shot. I am on time, I have yet to be late for anything DnD(Granted this would only be my third)

I think i can fix your problem step one go to %temp% by right clicking the window icon on your pc and pressing run then typing in %temp% go into discord delete the three files with cache in the name, code cache, cache i and gpu cache uninstall discord and reinstall it if that doesnt work delete everything in the discord file hope this helps 

Thanks for the recommendation, but the reason this is happening is because of issues with a hacker that locked my account. I have tried those strats, but nothing works ty for trying, though 

sorry you can try going to discord support to reset but thats about it

I have only resently started to play dnd. I have a few in person sessions under my belt and done lots of reading, but i have never played it online.Looking  to get a little more experience with the game and a shot with different character without to much pressure. 

Hi there, I'm very interested in getting started in online games. My friends and I are looking to start playing in person this fall, but I would love to play with other people as well. I'd most likely want to play a Half-Elf Ranger I made recently, I'm also in the central timezone up in Canada. I'm available Weekday evenings, all day and night Saturdays, unless something comes up, but would have plenty of warning. Sundays are a no-go as that's when my other group will be playing. I'm a 36-year-old dad, big into video games, music and movies/TV. I drive a truck for a living and love fantasy settings. I'm just looking to learn the game and have fun with some like-minded people. Hope to DM in the future with my group, so want to get as much in game experience as possible.

Hi, so I am interested in joining the group and if I join i would play dragonborn ranger and i am located  in central europe{cet) I also go to school still so i would be available mostly in evenings during weekdays and i am mostly free during weekends.

I am 19 i like to play games(video or tabletop if i have with someone to play),likes to read sometimes sci-fi books/novels ,currently studying at (ekvivalent to USA collage?) to gain my bachelor in biology.

• i plan to play a half orc fighter-blood hunter. blood hunter was however introduced in 2015 which im not sure if you're fine with. if not, im fine with playing just a half orc fighter. which might honestly be better since im not sure about multiclassing for my first character.
• im based in europe CEST
• weekdays wouldnt work because your 9 pm is my 5 am
  all of saturday and sunday until 2 - 3 am of monday (6 -7 pm sunday your time)
• im mostly new to dnd, all the things i know coming from social media n stuff, which is also how i got interested in it. honestly i just expect a fun time with other people and to get to know how the game works better than i do currently. also to maybe get to know some people but thats probably for later more serious campaigns.

Hi. Nice to meet you here. I'm new to d&d but I would be very interested in joining the group. The classes that I'm drawn to are barbarian and paladin. When it comes to race it's really hard to say. I would usually pick tabaxi or vulpin. However these two aren't in base source material so I would lean towards elves, drow or wood elf.

I a situated in Central Europe. 

As a working person myself I'm mostly free on weekends. 

I've been interested in ttrpg since high school although I had a chance to play one until recently but as A DM and it blew up. I'm looking for one shot since I still work on my new campaign set in Humblewood(hopefully it won't blow up this time) xd

While I'm familiar with many of the mechanics, I haven't played much 5e and decided to try playing online since there are no local groups that I can find. Hoping to learn how to play so that I can find a long term group. I like being creative and this would be a good outlet for me. I also sometimes like to use my experience in gaming to write short stories. I enjoy all aspects of the game but want to experience more than just a pure combat driven scenario.
