A Descent To Hell: Fighting For Your Right to Resurrection!

Game: D&D 5e, using homebrew along with the supplement book “The Infernal Tome”
Group type: Online 
Experience: Pretty new, getting my feet wet with DM’ing a bigger group.
Location/Timezone: Central Standard Time, it’s 1:12 PM at the time of posting for me
Schedule: Would require a bit of flexibility since I’m pretty busy a lot of the time, but we’ve landed on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays as potential game days
Roles sought: Looking for 2 players
Game style: Id say I want to make it a 60/40 split of Roleplay VS Combat, we’re a pretty chill group that want to goof off and enjoy the stories we’re trying to create together. We can get into side tangents of making jokes, but we can keep it semi serious enough when needed. My two other players are more experienced, we have a charisma based caster and a homebrew class that does status effects to give you an idea of party composition.

A small write up of the vision I have in mind for this campaign, imagine this mini lore dump like the beginning of a book, and you can feel free to write whatever you like, I’m more than happy to incorporate any ideas:

> In the land you are dying in, there have been much struggle and strife for all people, higher born or those lingering in the gutter. The land is rich and fertile, founded by explorers from far off lands, yet that only ever made it a place for those too blinded by riches to think of repercussions. Even hundreds of years after colonization, mortals must still fight off the magical beasts that scour the lands and those who wish to conquer those lands.

> The great land of “Who”. You can’t remember the details right now, but it was a strange shape, viewed high by Druids in their animal forms- it may have even been an owl Druid that coined the name. Regardless, there are a great many kingdoms, cities, and villages all around the land of Who… which you can barely remember. Even your very life is a mystery right now, as you scramble for those flashes of inspiration while you still have life within you.

> Were you a soldier fighting against a warring kingdom over the lands? Were you a mere peasant that wished to escape their little pond of mediocrity and bit more than they could chew? Were you a hunter of mortals, beasts, or villains? Was there a great purpose behind your life, something to dedicate yourself to?

> Who knows, all there is right now, is your dying moments. Your soul, wrenched from your body as you descend past the crust of the world, and land in hell. Will you fight against the demonic system to be granted a second chance at life? Do you want to try and take over and become a demonic lord? Or will you recognize the faults that plagued your life, and repent for your sins? 

Essentially, I want players who are willing to write interesting characters with the new systems I have in place to test their morality, and see what they want to do in the world I’m building!
