Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Fairly New Location/Timezone: Colorado, USA/Mountain Time Zone Availability: most Tuesday or Wednesday Evenings, Saturday Afternoons Preferred role: Player Game style: I guess casual, exploring and adventuring. I really want to see how this D&D Beyond works exactly. I created a character... now what? I used to play a loooooong time ago (2nd edition, I think) and watching Critical Role has gotten me interested in playing again. Just need patient players/DM willing to show a "newbie" the 5e ropes. I am happy to roll a new character to suit whatever the needs of the party are, or play a one-shot to "audition" for a group. (is that a thing?)
For what it's worth, I played the Star Wars Galaxies MMO for 8 years and enjoyed roleplaying and crafting droids for my guild mates. I currently play no other online games.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either Experience: New Location/Timezone: Montana/Mountain Time Availability: Flexible Preferred role: Player Game style: casual, roleplay(maybe)
Hi, I'm Stabs. I'm 34 and looking forward to trying d&d!
I have never played. I've watched all of critical role so I have some second hand knowledge on rules. I have two characters that I'm working on. One is pretty close to done (couple of issues and DM approval). Second is a little tougher of a build. Both are homebrew characters. I've never played online so that will be new to me. I have the 5e players handbook. My character is a Witcher (warlock/fighter) class.
Just as a side note I have a new puppy that I will have to get up for on occasion.
Anymore info or if you're interested feel free to message me! Thanks

I'm also a pretty new player, I'd like to join your game if you need people and can find a DM.
I'm looking for something similar!

Any suggestions on how to better find a group, as I have had no luck with this original post?
Are campaigns starting up regularly, or is it pretty rare?
