I'm 28 and I've been playing DND for more than a year now and I'm in 3 campaigns right now, 2 mostly irl and 1 (most recently joined) is a full Discord and DNDB campaign. 1st campaign (and first time playing at that point) is Waterdeep and we're lvl 4 now. 2nd campaign is with different people at a card and game shop, and we're level 7 currently and I've been in 3 sessions for them so far (I play with them every Sunday from 11:30ish to around 2 to 2:30 CST). 3rd campaign we've only had a practice RP/quest session and a meet n greet session with 2 new players. We're still finding a stable schedule for this group but DM aims to have us play every Wednesday and Saturday night (most likely). As for my Waterdeep group, I play with them twice a month (every other Sunday night). I've also played in 3 one shots as well, my highest level played being 6.
So my availability is Monday nights, Tuesday nights, Thursday nights, and Friday nights CST. Aside from consistent appointments and other irl responsibilities, I tend to be at my home a lot of the time and have a pretty flexible schedule. For platform preference, I'm looking for 5e and on Discord and DNDB (as said earlier).
With what type of games I prefer, I tend to like ones that have a fair mix of RP, exploration, and combat, but tend to lean a bit more towards RP and exploration. I tend to be a big fan of a lot of horror and dark styles of entertainment (I'm a big fan of Berserk and Souls games for example), so I tend to be okay with a lot of more dark and mature themes in campaigns, although with certain touchy topics I still have my limits (mainly due to personal trauma). As far as hard NOs go for me, I don't want to be involed in a campaign that's very challenging and meant for more seasoned players. I'm also heavily against any PVP in any sessions. I also do not ever play in any pay to play games.
I keep a backlog of rolled up characters on DNDB, and some of them already have finished backstories, alignments, motives to start their journeys, etc. If this post just so happens to catch your interest and you're either a DM or a player looking for more people to join, then let me know :)
