My Cleric's is a Mountain Dwarf by the name of Therrick Stormhammer who hails from Mirabar in the Sword Coast. Therrick is a part of a blacksmith guild, he travels the Sword Coast selling his guilds wears and taking orders for bulk customers. In Therricks travels, he has studies the god Tyr and draws his powers from for good and justice. Therrick is very useful for a party as he has a horse and cart to help with traveling and hauling, he can buff and heal other members of his party, and his armor class and heavy weapons make him formidable in the battle field. His downside's are what you expect from a dwarf, he is short, doesn't cover ground well, and has a weakness for food and ale.
