System: DnD 5e Play style: (70/30) RP/Combat Experience: 10+ Years
About me as the Game Master!
Hello, I often go by PUN, I am 27, I live in Texas with my two cats. I have been playing Dungeons and Dragons for about half my life. I have been a Dungeon Master for over 8 years. I have been a professional Dungeon Master for 4 years now. I started out in 4e and quickly moved to 5e where I picked up DMing for my small group of friends. It has been one of my biggest passions and greatest joys being able to make an amazing story with those sitting across the table or, in more recent times, screen.
My GMing style is a bit more laid back than most I have experienced in my day. I hate the feeling of the DM being against or "beating" the players. My goal is to build a story with and around the player in my game. If you are not having fun then I am not having fun.
I love a good roleplay heavy session. I have a couple of voices that I can do but don't make fun of me for slipping in and out of them! I am a super laid back and a "will of the players" type GM. The "rule of cool" is something I live by, I may allow something to happen just because I deem it cool. I sometimes twist or bend the rules to make a game more fun for both the players and myself. I mostly run a homebrew game but love running more sandbox modules such as Out of the Abyss.
Having been a full time professional Dungeon Master for four+ years now, I pride myself on being able to tell a story that draws in everyone at the table. My goal is to connect you to the scene even if your character may not actively be in it. With this being my full time job I am able to fully devote myself to ensuring your enjoyment at my table.
New Session Information
Basic Information for the game is: Game Time: Saturdays starting at 12pm CST and running until 5pm CST Game System: We will be running the 2024 update. Homebrew is allowed just has to be approved first. Game Style: As mentioned above I have a special place in my heart for story centric campaigns.
I like to develop my games with the players that make them up. So while a general narrative has not been decided those that join in early will be able to help craft the story that they would like to take part in. I have two fully homebrew worlds that we can play in and I am not against playing in an established setting. I want to tell a story with the players sitting around the table with me and those players should have a say in the content of that story.
What to expect.
Payment for games is as follows: I am running a deal right now that the first 3 months of play only cost $100 per month. After the 3 months period when you for sure know this is a good fit for you the price will be returned to its normal amount of $125 a month. We only play 4 times a month allowing me to take a break on any month that has a 5th day of the week that we play on.
I know $100 a month can sound steep to play D&D but that is $25 a session for the four sessions we play together. I put a lot of time and energy into making these games enjoyable for you and tailored to each group. This is my full time job so I can focus on my games and only my games. I also have reviews of the players I currently have in my games to help attest to the fact that this game will indeed be worth the price tag.
I have one group that has been playing over 4 years now, they just finished their first campaign and are starting a new one together. My Sunday game just reached their four year mark as well and have completed their story. The one thing all games want is to make it to a satisfying end, with my games we are able to do that with consistency. People that pay into the games are more likely to put quality time into them and make sure they are there. So we miss far fewer sessions and are able to make it into the long term.
All races and classes in official Wizards of the Coast published book are free game to use. I am even open to allowing UA/Homebrew as long as it has been submitted and approved by me before session 1 begins. We will be using roll20 for maps and combats, discord for voice chat, and D&Dbeyond for character sheet upkeep and rolling. There is an extension (beyond20) that allows you to roll on D&DBeyond and it port it over to roll20 and I have found it to be super effective. So that will be used as well.
We will work together to build backstories that tie into the world. This allows for more immersion into the story. We will discuss what type of game we are all wanting to play, where and how we wish to start, and if any of our characters have connected backstories. With this completed we can go into the first session with a running jump.
The first actual session and getting you set up into the game is free.
Parting words
I understand that paying money to play this game can sometimes be off putting. But when you consider the man hours I put into creating an immersive campaign story for you to play, D&Dbeyond content, as well as other purchases I make to run a great campaign, it is almost nothing to pay for the numerous hours of enjoyment that you will receive in return. It not only assures my level of commitment but the other players as well. If you are concerned at all about my quality as a Dungeon Master I have 26 players currently paying for my games, and dozens more, that I have played with in the past, who would vouch for my ability.
I do require my players to be 18+, this allows for more mature topics to be discussed, but other than that all are welcome to apply. I can work with any skill level from the just watched CritRole (or other D&D media) and want to play to the old timers playing since before I was born. Something I have to add is, be open to constructive criticism, old players and new alike, we are playing a collaborative storytelling game together. If someone has an issue with something that happened we should be able to settle it as adults. If that is not something you think you can do I ask that you please find another game. If you can, then I will welcome you with open arms to our (virtual) table.

I am a collaborative player and I really do like making characters that "fit in" with the world. A good character is the keystone to making a great story.
I don't have any questions at the moment, maybe how many people you'd expect to be in each party?
Name(nickname is fine): JP Age: 54 Pronouns: He/Him Time zone: EST How long have you been playing DnD: I've played one campaign that didn't finish. What got you into DnD: I've ALWAYS wanted to play, but just recently decided to finally start Preferred style of game: High Fantasy/heavy roleplay/fun and creative combat/exploring Discord tag: sliceofpeterpie Anything I should know: I'm THRILLED to start a new campaign! Questions for me: None at this time
Name(nickname is fine): Tyler Age: 22 Pronouns: he/him Time zone: CST How long have you been playing DnD: Not a lot of playing experience but have been watching multiple different creators for around 6-7 years. What got you into DnD: The first time I ever heard of DnD was when OfflineTV started a campaign but I didn’t care for it. Eventually I saw a recommended video on YouTube because of that and ended up loving it. Preferred style of game: Anything really. I’m not super confident in heavy RP moments but haven’t had the opportunity to try that much. I’m a sucker for difficult and complex boss fights though. Discord tag: thedroc Anything I should know: I’m not really trying to get in a game at this very moment. I’m more interested in reaching out to see if it would be possible for you to run a game for me and my friends. No problem if this isn’t what you were looking for. Questions for me: Do you have a document or something like that where I can read up on the world you created? Again, no problem if you don’t give that stuff out to non-players.
Name(nickname is fine): Flamma Age: 30+ Pronouns: She/Her Time zone: EST How long have you been playing DnD: 15+ years What got you into DnD: college friends knew I loved writing and world building, and recruited me to join their game! I love the idea of collaborative storytelling and building/exploring a world with amazing people =) Preferred style of game: Combat is my *least* favorite part of TTRPG. I really enjoy narrative style games where we are advancing a story (bonus points if there's a mystery for me to solve!) I enjoy stakes/consequences for your actions, but I hate the idea of death by unlucky death rolls. I appreciate when GMs balance the stakes and often offer a 'fate worse than death' consequence! Discord tag: flamma.mysteries Anything I should know: Hm... as I said, I really enjoy mysteries so if you give me something to solve, I *will* make a mental conspiracy theory board, and I *will* over analyze everything. This can be great for GMs looking for a player to stay focused on advancing the story, but terrible for GMs who will sort of just throw miscellaneous items in to fill time. Questions for me: Are you willing to do alternatives to character death? Mostly in the 'unlucky dice roll' instances. I totally understand 'listen you walked up to Cthulhu and punched him, what did you think would happen?' But I absolutely hate grindhouse games like the Witcher TTRPG system where death is just sooooo easy for stupid stuff!
