1000 years ago, a man now known only as the Lord Ruler ascended to godhood at the Well of Ascension in order to defeat The Abyss. Upon defeating The Abyss, the Lord Ruler used his omnipotence and omniscience to unify the world and craft his perfect empire: The Final Empire. He created the capital city of Luthadel, differentiated between the Nobles and the Skaa, gave Allomancy and Magic to certain Noble bloodlines, and brought forth what the Canton of Orthodoxy says has been 1000 years of peace. The Lord Ruler, immortal and invulnerable, is the God-Emperor of the Final Empire and still rules today. The Skaa are slaves, the Steel Ministry rules mercilessly, and the Nobility is full of corruption. This is a “perfect” world created and maintained by the Lord Ruler.
The Final Empire stands as a monument to the Lord Ruler’s iron will—a world of order, oppression, and unyielding control. For a thousand years, his reign has been unchallenged, his power absolute, and countless failed rebellions squashed by His mighty fist. The Skaa toil in chains, the Nobles revel in decadence, and the Steel Ministry enforces his will with ruthless efficiency. But beneath the surface of this "perfect" empire, whispers of rebellion stir. The cracks in his divine facade are beginning to show. The Lord Ruler may be immortal, but no empire lasts forever. You are not just adventurers—you are the spark that could ignite the flames of revolution. Will you rise from the shadows of Luthadel’s slums, where the Skaa dream of freedom? Will you infiltrate the opulent mansions of the corrupt Nobles, uncovering secrets that could shatter the empire’s foundations? Or will you walk the razor’s edge of the Steel Ministry, where one misstep could mean death—or worse?
My name is Carter and I’ve been DMing for 3 years, and been playing for 6. This setting and theme is based on the book series “Mistborn” by Brandon Sanderson; however, the story will be our own and unique. The only thing I’m taking from the series is the world and BBG. Due to this, I am looking for players who are unfamiliar with the book series so as to avoid spoiling any of the hidden world lore for themselves.
Hello! Enough experience to be able to get the hang of mechanics quickly, create a character that fits within the world, and can make combat smooth. 1 year should be enough.
Hello, I've already submitted an application and I believe my sister is as well. I forgot to mention in my application anywhere that I've never read the books, so I genuinely would have now clue what was going on.

That sound interesting, would it be possible to start earlier?
We'll hammer down a specific time when we have all the players.
How do you define experienced players? 1 year? More?

Bump.
I filled out the submission slip just to let you know!
I was wondering if you still have 3 slots open? Me and my 2 friends are looking for a new DM and are interested.
