Hi Jynne! I have two PBP groups on the forums here that could accommodate another player; feel free to look through the threads and see if you're interested in either!
The first, "Kobolds of the Sunless Citadel", is a somewhat unusual setup: most of the players are kobolds (though other races are allowed), and are exploring a dungeon to try to carve out a new home for their tribe (under threat from some as-yet unspecified menace in the Underdark). Right now there are four active players, the campaign has been going for about a week, and they are level 1. (Kobolds of the Sunless Citadel)
The second, "Rescue at Rivenroar", is a more traditional setup: hobgoblins just attacked the town of Brindol, which the players defeated, and the players are going to track them back to their lair which turns out to be more than just that. Right now there are six active players, the campaign just started a day or so ago, and they are level 2. (Rescue at Rivenroar)
If either of those sound interesting to you then feel free to PM me and we can work out how to introduce you into the game. : )
Lets see, right now the kobold campaign has a sorcerer, two druids and a ranger; the Rivenroar campaign has a sorcerer, a crossbowman, a blood hunter, a paladin, a monk and a cleric; don't feel like you can't play something we already have though, there are plenty of ways to distinguish yourself among others of the same class. : )
Either one would work for the Rivenroar campaign; right now they're negotiating with a councilmember over their contract for their adventure, I figure we can add you as an "oh and take this short one with you they know the surrounding countryside well" sort of thing. : )
A Gnome stands before you (who looks very much like his character icon), constantly alert and looking among you quickly as if making a mental inventory for a few seconds. He looks to the largest of the group and directs a bright smile to you and states "Galorash at your service!"
I love idea of a kobold-based campaign! So out of the ordinary from anything else I've tried. I'm still getting into 5th edition (and PBP for that matter) but I've played 2nd, 3rd and 4th editions pretty extensively in the past. Still looking for a player?
I try to respond regularly, if you won't be able to post for a day or longer let me know so I can work you out of the combat when it comes up but otherwise as frequently as you wish. The fact that you're asking about etiquette means you're probably not going to cause problems, haha. Um, other than that I guess just read through the thread as you get a chance to get a sense of where things are going so far, and have fun! : )
I should have posted this in PBP, withdrawn.

Working on a Kobold atm for the other

Galorash is more worked out, so if you are ok with the Forest Gnome, I'll use him.
Here is the Kobold:
https://ddb.ac/characters/4213203/fsBCV6 - Koohe female kobold rogue lvl 1. I'm pronouncing her name coo-ey, although in pbp i guess that wouldn't matter :)
Cool, I'll introduce Galorash in the RaR thread right now, after which you can introduce yourself. : )
Edit: Feel free to post your introduction now! : )
I've also made an introduction for Koohe in the kobolds thread, so go ahead and introduce yourself there as well. : )
How do i control what is seen by them and what is seen only by you? This is the part Im new at.
So far it's all been in the open for everyone; if you need to keep something secret from the other players you can PM me.
Oh yes, and the campaigns:

is there a campaign chat or just do intros here
Just do intros in the campaign threads.

Sounds good; go ahead and post it in the PbP thread.

Welcome aboard Vandermere; you'll have arrived with Koohe, feel free to post an introduction for your character in the PbP thread. : )
Thanks a bunch! Looking forward to it. Anything special I need to know about posting? Frequency, etiquette, etc?

Hah! Appreciate the vote of confidence. Of course, I expect a group of kobolds to bring it's own problems. ;)
