New player. Nervous and trying to get out of my comfort zone to be more social. I've had an intrest in dnd from watching ledgends of avantris. Bought a starter set and dice but don't have friends to play.

LFG is Looking for Game, which is what you appear to be doing.
LFP is Looking for Players. This is usually reserved for DM's or groups who are recruiting new players.
I wish you luck on finding the right group for you, which can be very frustrating. Be patient and hang in there. I am running a 5e (2014) Rime of the Frostmaiden game on bi-weekly Fridays, which would be from 6 pm - 11 pm mountain time. All 2014 content is shared and we are very welcoming to new players. It would be like Legends of Avantris' Icebound campaign, but we are way less funny. We are a smaller group with 3 players and myself. Whatever you decide, I truly hope you have a great first experience with D&D and TTRPGs, because I think it is well worth stepping out of your comfort zone. I was a nervous wreck when I first started, but now I DM and love it!
