Riven, once a symphony of clockwork and gaslight, now echoes with discord and chaos. The Great Sundering ripped the veil between realities, unleashing the Far Realm's madness into the world through rifts deep in the oceans. Centuries later, Riven still bleeds. Bronze Age tribes war amid crumbling ruins, stalked by aberrant horrors, their alien presence a promise of oblivion.

Only fractured enclaves cling to the old world's brilliance, ruled by decadent nobles and obsessed scholars, their fading technology a dying ember.

The Obsidian Spire, a monolithic enigma, pierces the sky. Here, the Avatars of the Old Gods send forth agents into the ravaged lands, seeking to stem the encroaching darkness. Are they saviors, or puppet masters?

Your characters are these agents, members of the Obsidian Guild, sent into a broken world to save what can be saved and fight back against the madness. What fate will you make in these sundered lands?

What you can expect:

I run sandbox games that revolve around the players. Session 0 or your first session if you join an ongoing campaign is always free.

I run many games per week professionally, in a variety of TTRPG systems. I have been playing and running games both online and off, streaming live, pre-recorded, paid and free both virtually and at conventions for decades.

With me you will get a full Foundry experience with music, maps, tokens and other pieces, as well as custom story beats based on your character and their backstory. Your story will be told in a homebrew world using a variety of new character options and will last until level 20 or as long as you are able to play in the game.

In this Dungeons & Dragons campaign, we will explore a custom homebrew world where gothic horror, sword and sorcery, and cosmic horror intertwine to create a truly unique and engaging experience.

How to join an awesome story:

Here are the most basic requirements:

You are 18 or over unless specifically stated otherwise elsewhere in the post.

You are ok with 2 or 3 hour session lengths that meet once a week.

You are ok with games that use safety tools including red and yellow lines.

You have a decent microphone. 

You have a Discord account.
