"There’s something wrong in the mountains. Uninhabited and usually quiet, the western slopes have recently been host to a number of oddities. The animals are on edge, the weather is extreme, and the unimpressive ruins you’ve ignored your whole life suddenly look strange. You wouldn’t care much to investigate if it weren’t for the fact that, two days ago, Professor Dorian Karar took off into those hills, and he has not returned. The reward for his return is high, high enough that you just might don your boots, tie on your cloak, and start marching towards some strange old rocks."
I am looking for 3-4 adult players to play a campaign in my homebrew fantasy world. Players will begin with an investigation into some strange activities in nearby ruins, and have agency in a larger plot that unfolds thereafter. I prefer 2014 rules, and there are occasional additional homebrew mechanics at play, which I will discuss with players. I am open to homebrewed classes and such, but we need to discuss it. This campaign is humans only, however we can discuss reskinning other races.
