Game style: I generally prefer more roleplay rather than hacknslash murder hobo vibes, i tend to get bored and lose interest if all im doing is going from one combat to another with barely anything being said outside the GM occasionally saying something like, "off in the distance, you hear a roar! And then over the hill comes 5 orcs charging straight at you! Roll for initiative!".
I've been DMing 2 campaigns for a little over a year now, one ended abruptly due to players leaving, the other has continued on strong. In the campaign i stil GM for, i got to roleplay as an NPC that the party was escorting, they liked the NPC so there was a lot of opportunities for roleplay in character, which made me realize... I MISS BEING A PLAYER! It has been roughly 2 years since i have gotten the opportunity to sit on the other side of the screen, and although i do have a great time drumming my fingers together menacingly, I miss building one character really well rather than a whole slew of NPCs mediocre.
