The Celestial Convergence, an event that allows those in the Material Plane to see into distant realms unseen. What should have been a once in a lifetime opportunity for all those in attendance turned into a nightmare come to life. The veil between realms cracks, leading to the planes beginning to bleed into one another and otherwordly creatures to spill into the Sword Coast. The party is swept up in the chaos, working with unknown and powerful allies to uncover the cause of this catastrophe. From Neverwinter to Baldur's Gate, from the Feywild to the Elemental Planes, join this band of unlikely heroes as they find themselves on a mission even greater than themselves, saving cities from unnatural uprisings and keeping balance in the world, all while trying to hunt down the mysterious figure behind these strange occurrences before the very fabric of reality is completely destroyed.
Hi everyone! My name is Adam (30M), and I'm currently looking for someone to join me and a few others on an ongoing adventure through the Sword Coast and the realms of the Great Wheel Cosmology. I'm looking for a player who loves storytelling and roleplay while also getting invested in their character and the bonds they're able to forge with the party they're traveling with. We unfortunately had to separate ourselves from our previous player due to a difference in playstyle and are hoping to find someone who is interested in taking their seat at the table. This campaign is a mixture of lighthearted, comedic moments between the party members and NPCs they encounter, with more serious and darker moments that help cement the gravity of the situation at hand.
The campaign has been going on for more than a year now and the party is currently level 10 and the hope is to eventually reach level 20 somewhere down the line 🤞🏻. As a DM, I encourage creativity and having fun and want everyone involved to have a great time while also working to get along with each other. I greatly enjoy trying new character voices (to varying degrees of success) to help bring everyone into the campaign a bit more, while also creating challenging combat scenarios and battlemaps. Any sort of idea you might have I am more than happy to listen to and we can find a way to introduce them to the world and the party. The current party makeup is a sorcadin (paladin/sorcerer), fighter, monk, and artificer, in case you were wondering. Overall, we're a group of open and creative people who just want to have a good time playing make believe ☺️
We currently play Saturdays at 1PM EDT and our sessions usually run between 3-3.5 hours (sometimes a bit longer, but I'm trying to not let that happen as often). We use a mixed ruleset of 2014 and 2024 D&D rules, but usually just go with whatever rule feels like the better option for us. We use Discord for voice/video chat, DNDBeyond for character sheets, and Roll20 for battlemaps 😁
Anyone who is interested is welcome to complete the attached form below and submit a response. I'm hoping to find someone to join us and play by next Saturday April 5th. Thank you all for reading and I look forward to reading all of your responses!
