Game: D&D 5e or 5.5e campaign Group preferred: Online or Face-to-face Experience: Newish - I've been playing a year Location/Timezone: EST timezone, for face-to-face games I'm in Philadelphia, PA. Availability: I'm available after 5:30pm Mon-Fri except I can't play Tuesdays; 7pm is the latest I can start for a weeknight game. I can play any time Saturdays but cannot play Sundays. Preferred role: Player Game style: I like a good mix of rp/exploration/combat. I'm more of a casual player in it especially for the creative fun and the social aspect.
I have a few things I'm looking for in a group.
1) I want to play a wizard or sorcerer (specifically, if it's 5.5e then draconic sorcerer). I have a preference for 5.5e games because of the draconic sorcerer thing, but still open to both 5e and 5.5e. I also might be interested in playing a druid for 5e.
2) Looking for a group that facilitates out of character banter and socialization. It doesn't have to be a lot, but I don't enjoy when I start play immediately / leave immediately / there's zero out of character chatter at any point.
3) Needs to be 18+ and LGBTQ+ friendly (21+ would be even better!)
4) Would love if the group had cameras on for online play, but this isn't a requirement.
5) Would also love if we could roll our own physical dice, but not a requirement. I just have pretty dice that I miss rolling.
More information:
I'm Amanda, I'm in my 30's and while I've been playing a year, so far I've only played a dragonborn evocation wizard so anything else will be a learning experience! I'm not able to do paid campaigns, free campaigns only. Homebrew is welcome and enjoyed, I actually prefer some homebrew over sticking to 100% official content. I can't stress enough that the social aspect is really important to me - I'm not here to just roleplay a character with no social out of character interactions, I want to make friends through this.
Hey Blake! I think I need to clarify my post for weeknight starting times; unfortunately starting at 8pm is too late for me on a weeknight. Thanks though :)
