From their high perches in the Upper City, the local nobles — known as patriars — gaze down with veiled contempt upon the common rabble in the grimy Lower City, which hugs the foggy harbor. The whole of Baldur’s Gate reeks of blood, crime, and opportunity. One can easily fathom why pirates and traders are drawn to this place like flies to a carcass.

About the DM:
I have played Dungeons and Dragons for many years as a kid and as an adult. Several years ago I ran my first paid game on Roll20 and have completed 3 paid campaigns over the years and several more with friends. I have run Descent into Avernus 3 times previously, getting to completion only once. I enjoy keeping my players involved with engaging role play and fun combat encounter.
