Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: 6+ years on/off DMing for both adults and for youth groups/clubs in schools Location/Timezone: UK - GMT/BST Availability: 17:00 - 24:00 Weekdays + Sunday / 09:00 - 24:00 Saturday Preferred role: Player Game style: Adventure style with lots of opportunities for role-play and character development
Greetings!
I have been playing DnD and Pathfinder 2e for many years, but I have always reprised the role of my group's Forever DM as my friend group didn't have anyone who felt confident enough or had the time to take the role. Thus, I am looking for a new group to join to have the opportunity to enjoy playing instead of DMing. I am totally okay with joining campaigns partway through, and I am happy to fulfill any role in the party that is needed. Whilst I am hoping for a group I can stick with long-term to develop closer friendships with the other members of the group, I am totally okay to join a group with shorter-term goals. I am looking to play a classic adventure style of campaign, with lots of opportunities to role-play my character, but I am also very interested in the combat systems, and get very into dangerous combat encounters where clever strategy and tactics are rewarded.
If you think I would be a good fit for your campaign, hit me up on my discord, or send a reply here - I look forward to getting to know you!
I'd like to offer you an invite into The Nexus. We are a growing, westmarch style community and are always looking for more players and DMs alike. We already have a decent EU based presence and at least a couple games a day one can try to join. Granted, it can be a little difficult at times, as there are a lot of people looking to play and currently a few DMs, but that issue is going to sort itself with time. Westmarch plays a bit different form a regular campaign, in that once you create your persistent character (or few) you can join with them into any game posted by our DMs that you are eligible for and so your character gets to experience different settings and effectively, over time, pick his favorite adventures, and perhaps even settle down in one or more DM's worlds, becoming a part of it, more or less like one would in a campaign as well.
If you find this interesting, check out my post here and follow the link within to our discord!
I see your post and am not sure if this works for you (as far as time). I am on the EST time zone (GMT -5) and I run a Sunday night game at 6PM (EST), is that a time that fits within yur time frame?

A DM of D&D since the late 70s. I have ran 1st - 3.x editions of D&D. Ran Pathfinder 1st Ed for approx 6 years, and now currently run 5E for the past 4 years. I have over 40 years of experience with the game and love to create a good story for the players to enjoy.
Heya, I checked the timezones, and that wouldn't work for me, as it starts at 11pm my time and I have work at 8am the following morning. Thanks for asking though!
No worries, sometimes I get time zones backward, so asking never hurts. Good gaming to you.
