The Shattered Oathlands is a 5E (2014 ruleset) text-based Dungeons & Dragons server hosted on Discord. We're a rich, surreal setting driven by character choices, metaphysical consequences, and oath-bound storytelling. This is a roleplay-first, collaborative world with active staff oversight and deep narrative systems.

We are currently accepting staff applications only—ideal for storytellers and community builders ready to help shape a living, mythic setting.

Now Recruiting:

1–2 Loremasters (DMs):

• Run scenes (text-based, asynchronous or scheduled)

• Portray NPCs, facilitate travel, and escalate character arcs

• Guide consequences of player actions across faction, divine, and metaphysical systems

Moderators (Community Support):

• Help organize and manage channels

• Assist in onboarding new players

• Enforce guidelines and maintain the tone of the setting

• Optional: develop faction support and coordinate staff tasks

What You Can Expect:

• A surreal, character-driven homebrew setting with mystical echoes, divine fracture, and regional “shards”

• Flexible scene running (async or scheduled) with a supportive staff team

• Collaborative worldbuilding and narrative freedom

• Robust lore docs, active GM team, and creative autonomy

• Familiarity with Discord and text-based RP is required

• Experience with Avrae or D&D Beyond integration is helpful but not required
