Couple (him 22 her 23) looking for group for a game on Sunday! LGBT friendly and both Critters
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online or face to face Experience: Girlfriend has played a few sessions but is mostly new. I started with 4E and came back for 5E Location/Timezone: PST Vancouver, BC, Canada Availability: Any time sunday, preferably afternoon start time Preferred role: Both prefer to be players. Game style: We are both roleplay centered but are open to other play styles
Let me throw my stats below and see if there is interest in starting some trouble.
Game: D&D 5E (Dark Sun - homebrew)
Group Preferred: Online/Discord Solomon777#9288 (trying new technology)
Experience: I am a veteran storyteller and DM/GM scattered with player opportunities
Location/Time Zone: PST
Availability: Sundays, with some modifications as schedules allow
Preferred Role: DM/GM, though I have been known to play from time to time
Game Style: I prefer a mix of hack-n-slash with a generous amount of role play and puzzles, though play-by-post (as in my earlier games) were difficult on some puzzles and RP situations. I tend to be a bit chaotic when it comes to the game world I use, thus there may be items that are not canon. That being said, I have used the lines 'everything is possible' and 'the unorthodox-orthodox gamer' many times before.
I am now trying to get my games above a level of Play-by-Post, as getting a 'good' group together for table top is a challenge. I am a newbie when it comes to getting on D&D Beyond and Discord, or any 'chat' technology, but I assigned myself a fair amount of homework to catch up.
Hey solomon! Very interested in the game. Sent you an add invite on Discord! Was wondering if it'd be possible to play a blood hunter path of lycanthroby. Idk much about dark sun but i'll be looking up some videos for some background on the lore
Hello Corruptstar, and thank you very much for the reply. Funny enough I chose the Dark Sun setting as it is probably my favorite setting, though it was a close call with Planescape. The biggest things, and the most generic things, to know about Dark Sun setting is that nearly everything is psionic, nearly everything is out for survival, magical apocalypse has ruined huge swaths of the planet, the gods have turned their back on Athas (the name of the World), a few of the staple races have been slaughtered to extinction, slavery is rampant, and the city-states are ruled by sorcerer-kings/queens who both protect the region (kindah') and rule with absolute tyranny. Join all these topics with an arid atmosphere, that exists nearly all of the time, and there you go ... Dark Sun.
I will add that there are some differences to the situation listed above.
Fun place, right?
