Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either Experience:New/ a few years / veteran Location/Timezone: Blytheville, Arkansas (about an hour from Jonesboro Arkansas and Memphis) Availability: As I currently don't have a job or school to go to, my online presence can be very flexible. Face-to-Face is a different matter though, as I would have to rely on my transportation, especially if it took place out of town. Thus, weekends only, preferably in the afternoon. Preferred role: DM /Player Game style: I am heavily into roleplay, so I would prefer a game style that focuses on that as well as story.
I have played DnD a total of two times, one I can barely remember because I was rather young, and one with a DM and other players who were inexperienced. My roleplay experience lies mostly in online forums and notebooks passed between friends during class.
While I say I prefer either, I would actually prefer face-to-face but certain factors can make that very difficult (mainly, my location in a small town in Arkansas). Online would really be much easier all around I think, but if a face-to-face opportunity presented itself, I could travel up to an hour for a game that happens on weekends in the afternoon. I'm very flexible with play time online though, as long as its on a schedule.
I would very much prefer to play rather than DM.
Side Note: I'm working on kind of a homebrew character that's just a dragon in disguise as an adventurer as part of a coming of age thing among dragons. I would gladly work with the DM to workshop the character into being playable and not OP. I would also understand if the DM didn't want anything like that in their game and would be willing to choose a more traditional character.
