## About me Im the DM! Hey . My name is Steve, im a 27 year old dm, with alot of experience, but kinda new with roll20. Im running a campaign on roll20 and this one will also be played by using the roll20 website. My one and only goal as a DM is to give my players the BEST D&D experience they will ever have! And i will always play with that goal in mind.
## About the campaign This is a homebrew campaign, ill provide a bit of info and a short intro to the campaign below! We are using D&D 2024 5E Ruleset and MM (Monster Manual) for this campaign.
** Campaign Introduction ** In the realm of Aethervale, seasons don't just change. They physically rotate through our world as it turns through four elemental planes. This isn't just a weather pattern - it's reality itself shifting around you.
For most of history, folks lived by the wheel's turning. They moved with the seasons, harvested special resources when planes overlapped, and accepted that sometimes winter would be harsh or summer would burn too hot. That was just life.
Then came King Valorian Duskmere. After the Century Storm killed the old royal family ten years ago, this brilliant engineer took the throne. People call him "The Unmoving King" because he brought something nobody thought possible: stability. Under his rule, Solastrad has flourished. The capital city sits at the hub of the cosmic wheel, protected from extreme seasonal shifts. The king's Royal Astrolabe Guild predicts seasonal movements with amazing accuracy, letting communities prepare perfectly for changes. No more surprise freezes killing crops. No more unexpected heat waves burning towns.
Your characters have been personally invited to the king's big Decennial Celebration. The fancy invitation notes you were specifically chosen as representatives from your home regions. It's a huge honor, even if you're not sure why you were picked.
** Rules and Character Creation ** This campaign uses the D&D 5th Edition 2024 rulebook. We'll be using content from:
Characters start at level 1. This is planned as a long-term campaign that will span up to level 20, so expect a gradual power progression. The campaign emphasizes:
Survival elements Resource management Environmental challenges Moral choices about stability versus natural order
we also have custom rules but i rather go over them with members when accepted into our party!
Add me on discord if interested! Discord: stevexeu
Your campaign definitely has an interesting premise, but could you elaborate a little on what type of story you have in mind? Like is there a central conflict occuring in the background which the plot revolves around? Or is it more of a sandbox type go out and explore type of campaign?
I'm asking mostly out of curiousity but also because it gives me an ideas on what type of character I could play to fit into your story should you choose to invite me to your campaign.
